As a business owner, I developed a healthy appreciation of the healthcare needs of my employees and their families. Their welfare was very important to me. I also learned to appreciate the significant challenges business owners face when it comes to providing a quality, competitive health care benefit for employees while staying competitive.

When shopping for my own health insurance several years ago, I got so frustrated with the soaring premiums and massive deductibles, and was so relieved when I found other, more sane options for my situation.

I’m now happy to share what I learned with others. I’m really passionate about helping individuals and business owners find more cost-effective solutions to employee health benefits and benefits for themselves.

What I Believe About Healthcare, Business, and Community

I’m a big believer in healthcare freedom. I believe that individuals should be able to freely access health information, and that doctors should be able to have frank, direct, honest conversations with their patients without having to worry about government gag orders, corporatist restrictions, and other third-party interference.

More broadly, I believe a business should operate with intent, purpose, stability, honor, dependability and as part of the community. I operate my own health insurance and health sharing advisory practice this way.

I believe in giving back to the community. In my own home town, I’m active in youth events, veterans support organizations, and the Rotary Club.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my 8 grandchildren (soon to be 9!), serving youth through church ministry, and riding my motorcycle.
