2. Our Services; Insurance and Healthshare Disclosures

HSA for America is a licensed health insurance broker agency. We provide guidance, information, and recommendations to help individuals, families, and small businesses evaluate health insurance plans, health savings accounts, healthshare programs, and related options. We do not underwrite or issue insurance policies. All insurance policies are issued by licensed third-party insurance carriers, and all final plan terms, pricing, benefits, and eligibility are determined solely by the carrier you choose.

Some of the programs described on the Site are healthshare (health care sharing ministry) programs. Healthshare programs are NOT insurance. They are voluntary cost-sharing arrangements among members and are not backed by any state guaranty association. Participation in a healthshare program does not guarantee payment of any medical expense, and sharing of eligible expenses is voluntary on the part of the healthshare organization and its members. Final membership terms, sharing guidelines, and eligibility are determined solely by the healthshare organization you join. Nothing on this Site should be read as a promise or guarantee that any particular expense will be shared or paid.

The information provided on our website and by our Personal Benefits Managers is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute a guarantee of plan benefits, pricing, or eligibility, and it does not constitute accounting, legal, tax, or other professional advice. We recommend confirming all plan details directly with the insurance carrier or healthshare organization before enrolling.

Using our website or speaking with one of our Personal Benefits Managers does not create any obligation on your part.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”) are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws of the United States, international copyright laws, and international conventions.

SMS & Text Messaging Terms

If you opt in to receive text messages from HSA for America, message and data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary based on your requests and quote updates.

• Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
• Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or contact us directly at [email protected] or 800-913-0172.
• Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile phone information will be shared with third party affiliates or marketers for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. User Data

We will maintain certain data that you transmit to the Site for the purpose of managing the performance of the Site, as well as data relating to your use of the Site.
