All You Need To Know About

OneShare Castrophic365 Short-term Healthshare

The OneShare Catastrophic365 plan is a low-cost short-term healthshare plan.

It is offered by OneShare Health, offering a membership lasting from 1 month, up to 12 months. OneShare Health is an ACA-exempt health care sharing ministry dedicated to helping individuals and families share medical expenses with affordable and flexible sharing programs.

Rooted in the Anabaptist faith, OneShare Health unites members under shared biblical principles and provides unique health care solutions tailored to individual needs.

Ideal for those between jobs or who may have missed open enrollment, this plan features low monthly contributions, virtual urgent care, access to nationwide providers, and unique membership benefits.

The Catastrophic365 plan is structured around an Individual Sharing Account (ISA), which acts similarly to a deductible in traditional insurance. Members are responsible for covering medical expenses up to a selected ISA amount.

OneShare Catastrophic365 offers two ISA options: $5,000 or $10,000. The plan also includes per-incident sharing maximums (ranging from $150,000 to $500,000, depending on the plan) and lifetime sharing maximums.

Once the ISA is met, OneShare shares 100% of eligible expenses, including hospitalization, emergency room visits (after a $500 visit fee), inpatient and outpatient surgeries, and more.

However, preventative and wellness visits, primary care physician visits, urgent care physician visits, maternity expenses, and prescription drugs are not covered.

Convenient Short-Term Support

This 12-month flexible program is ideal if you are between jobs, or expecting to be covered under a spouse’s plan soon, or if you are approaching age 65 and will soon be on Medicare.

This also works well for anyone needing a lower-cost plan that can fit into their budget.

Unique Benefits

All OneShare Health members receive unique benefits with a WellCard Savings Card.

Benefits include savings of up to 75% on diabetic care, 50% on dental care and vision care, 15% on vitamins, 50% on MRI and imaging, and more.

Flexible Memberships

There are no time restrictions for joining or canceling the program.

You can cancel whenever you choose. Once the year is over, you can re-enroll for another year if you choose.

Nationwide Provider Network

OneShare Health partners with the First Health Network, allowing participants to choose from thousands of providers nationwide, ensuring high-quality, flexible care.

Members are not required to use an in-network provider; however, choosing an out-of-network provider may result in higher out-of-pocket costs.

Comprehensive Features

All members gain immediate access to virtual primary care, virtual urgent care (telemedicine), mental health services, discounted specialist and emergency room visits, and more.

Inpatient and outpatient surgery, x-rays, labs, diagnostics, and hospitalization services are all available after the ISA is met, but primary care physician visits are not supported.

Affordable Monthly Costs

The Catastrophic365 plans start at just $45.59 per month, with contributions 20% lower than OneShare’s standard Catastrophic plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

HSA Secure FAQ IconQ: What does it cost to enroll in OneShare Catastrophic365?

A: To reduce administrative costs, OneShare Health charges a $25 application fee.

This fee ensures the enrollment process runs smoothly while maintaining affordable monthly contributions.

It is a one-time fee, and no additional charges are applied to begin membership in the Catastrophic365 Program.

HSA Secure FAQ IconQ: Are pre-existing conditions eligible for sharing?

A: No, pre-existing conditions are never eligible for sharing under the Catastrophic365 Program.

This includes any condition diagnosed or treated before enrollment or during a previous enrollment period, even if you re-enroll in the program.

HSA Secure FAQ IconQ: Are dependents covered?

A: Yes, dependents can be added to your Catastrophic365 Program.

If a dependent turns 27 during the 12-month period, they will remain on the program until it expires.

After expiration, they must enroll in their own program to continue coverage.

Coverage for primary or dependent members of a plan will end automatically at the close of a billing cycle if a member reaches the age of 65.

HSA Secure FAQ IconQ: How long does the Catastrophic365 program last?

A: The Catastrophic365 Program lasts up to 12 months from the start date.

However, you are not locked into the program and may cancel anytime without penalties.

Membership automatically ends the day before the anniversary date unless you choose to re-enroll.

HSA Secure FAQ IconQ: Can members re-enroll in this program?

A: Yes, members can re-enroll as often as needed.

However, re-enrollment does not reset the Lifetime Sharing Maximum.

For example, if you have a $1,000,000 limit and have already shared $300,000, only $700,000 remains available regardless of how many times you re-enroll.

HSA Secure FAQ IconQ: Can monthly contributions change during the 12-month period?

A: No, monthly contributions remain fixed for the duration of the 12-month program.

If you re-enroll after the program ends, the new monthly contribution will reflect current rates but will stay consistent for the duration of the new program.
