Mending Gold
This is the most comprehensive plan available through Mending, and the only one with a $0 deductible.

Cons
- Gold Plan Isn’t HSA-Compatible: If you’re looking for an HSA-qualified plan, you’ll want to skip Gold.The $0 deductible is great, but it doesn’t meet HSA criteria.
- Coinsurance Applies for Major Services: After the deductible, you’ll pay a percentage for things like hospital stays or advanced imaging. This is pretty typical, but worth budgeting for.
- Not Available in All States: Mending is currently only offered in Oklahoma and Maine. If you move out of state, you’ll need to switch carriers.
DPC Model May Be New to Some: Direct Primary Care is a different experience, one many love, but it may take time to understand how it fits into your routine.
