CareFirst of Maryland offers coverage to individuals and families. The tier levels for available plans are Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Catastrophic. There is one HSA-qualified Bronze plan available, and one HSA-qualified Silver plan.

Vision benefits are included, and optional dental plans are available.

There are three dental plans to choose from:
BlueDental Preferred,
Dental HMO,
and Preferred Dental.

All dental plans offer no-charge oral exams, cleanings, and X-rays and do not require referrals.
Kids under 19 get dental benefits at no charge

Vision plans include benefits such as:
$0 yearly exam
Up to $40 reimbursement for out-of-network exams
Up to 30% off on:

Contacts and eyeglass lenses and frames
LASIK
Progressive lenses and scratch-resistant lenses
