It offers great flexibility and comprehensive coverage without needing referrals within the network. The customer service team has been responsive and helpful, especially with the new Optum Rx integration for pharmacy benefits. While there have been some adjustments with the new member ID cards, the overall service remains top-notch. I appreciate the commitment to quality and the resources available to members.

Good if you need mental health care
Mental healthcare has been a big issue for me and my family for many years. A appreciate that the Mass General Brigham Health Plan gets us. They put a lot of emphasis on mental ehatlh care. And we’ve used the Lyra benefit a lot, which helped my brother stay out of the hospital.
Definitely much better then the other healthcare plans i’ve had.
Good, but make sure your doctor takes the plan
Mass General Brigham has been mostly great. Their coverage is comprehensive, and their customer service team has been responsive to my inquiries. However, there have been a few instances where finding in-network providers has been a bit challenging. Nonetheless, their online tools have been helpful in navigating the policy and claims process.
I Love Allways!
I’ve been with Allways (now Mass General Brigham) for years, and they’ve and always come through for us. When my husband had a heart attack recently (he’s ok, thank God) tthey paid almost $100,000 in medical bills no problem. Follow up has been great, and we’ve been able to see some excellent specialists.
Iv’e had other insurance companies before that had much narrower networks and I had a hard time finding specialists I could actually see. But Mass General has great coverage in the Boston/New England area. Would recommend, and I’m glad we switched to Mass General.
