Chinese Community Health Plan (CCHP) began in 1899, when Chinese immigrants couldn’t access San Francisco’s healthcare. That health care system became formal in 1982 with assistance from Blue Shield California, and became known as the Chinese Community Health Plan. All members of CCHP are enrolled in Covered California, and can choose from 1,400 doctors in the Hills Physician Medical Group.
Chinese Community Health Plan Medicare Advantage Plans
CCHP offers coverage through Covered California in San Francisco and the San Mateo counties. All the plans are Qualified Health Plans, according to the federal government’s standards. CCHP has two Medicare Advantage plans:
CCHP Senior Program (HMO)
CCHP Senior Select Program (HMO SNP)
Both let you choose from a large network of PCPs and specialists.
