Whitelist

In order to make sure you receive every issue of Maximize Your HSA, just follow the instructions below based on where you receive your email. If you have Spam Filters set up, also be sure to add us there.

WhiteList – is a list of accepted items or persons in a set…. a list of e-mail addresses or domain names from which an e-mail blocking program will allow messages to be received.

Gmail

  1. Sign in to your account at Gmail.com and do the following.
  2. Add the address to your contacts
  3. Add the email address that is sending you email (eg [email protected]) to your Gmail Contacts. Google will usually deliver email from addresses that are in your Contacts.

    • In Gmail, navigate to the spam folder.
    • Search for emails containing the domain you wish to whitelist (eg hsaforamerica.com).
    • Select all the emails shown.
    • Click More and then Not spam.

6. Create a filter for the address

7. Create a filter to tell Google to whitelist email from a domain or online group.

    • Click the cog icon in the top-right corner, and then Settings
    • Click on Filters and then Create a new filter

Others

Many popular e-mail programs, including older versions of Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Netscape Mail, don’t provide a convenient way for you to white-list the folks you want to receive e-mail from. If you’re using this sort of e-mail system and you either aren’t getting Maximize Your HSA or want to make sure you continue to receive Maximize Your HSA in the future, you can do something about it.

Contact the customer service people or the Postmaster at the company that provides your e-mail or Internet connection (your ISP). Explain to them that Maximize Your HSA is e-mail that you asked for and value. Ask them if they can white-list Maximize Your HSA. (Unfortunately, some e-mail systems don’t allow white-listing.) If they do white-list, they’ll probably ask you for some information about us. Here’s what to tell them:

    1. Sending Address: If they ask for our address, give them [email protected] and     [email protected]
    2. Domain: If they need to know the domain we’re mailing from, tell them:     hsaforamerica.com
    3. IP Address: If they ask for our sending IP address, tell them:     205.178.189.1318

Thank you for white-listing Maximize Your HSA.
