The insurance options for customers of Accident & Health include short term plans, accident, accidental death, and more. Here’s what you can expect to find:
Short Term Medical
Includes coverage for some preventative care, urgent care, and doctor visits. When you choose a deductible and coinsurance option, coverage can begin as soon as the next day, and you get access to the Open CHoice PPO Network and Aetna.
AcciMed
This plan covers accidents, accidental death, and dismemberment. There are four benefit levels.
VitalGuard
This plan is designed for any surprise out-of-pocket costs associated with dismemberment or accidental death. There are three benefit levels, and it pays out in one lump sum to those between 18-64.
Accident Fixed-Benefit
This plan pays cash out directly to you right away, with no waiting periods or network restrictions. It’s especially useful if you are losing income due to an accident or illness.
National General Holdings Corp Extra Benefits
National General Health & Accident offers what is called the “Plan Enhancer.” You can improve your coverage, so you can pay any high medical bills that come up after an accident or disease like cancer and stroke. There are five benefit levels. There is also a dental plan you can get from Accident & Health that provides you with cash benefits for treatments and checkups.
