Q: Is Aetna insurance available in my area?

A: Aetna insurance is currently only available in a limited number of states and counties, but the list is growing. If Aetna is not available in your area, your Personal Benefits Manager can help you find a comparable plan that is.

Q: Does Aetna cover dental?

A: Aetna’s ACA health insurance plans do not cover dental or vision care unless it is an emergency. However, Aetna does offer stand alone dental plans for both individuals and families that can be purchased in addition to your primary health plan.

Q: Does Aetna cover maternity / NICU?

A: Aetna plans cover delivery expenses for standard, healthy deliveries. In some cases, delivery complications can lead to additional charges. If you have a child, be sure to add them to your plan within 30 days of being born.
