Founded in 1998, Blue Care Network of Michigan is a nonprofit health maintenance organization owned by Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Michigan. Blue Care Network of Michigan has over 900,000 members, and their network includes almost 6,000 primary care physicians and over 23,000 specialists. BCN has been the largest HMO in MI for 20 years.

Blue Care Network of Michigan Coverage

BCN offers both individual and family coverage, as well as Medicare and Medicaid plans, and dental and vision plans. Each plan has three metal tiers:

Bronze Plans

Bronze plans cover about 60 percent of costs

Silver Plans

Silver plans cover about 70 percent (with a potential reduction)

Gold Plans

Gold plans cover about 80 percent of
cost
